Event Details

Train Monday November 17th from 7-9 p.m., Tuesday November 18th from 7-9 p.m., or both days with 3 Rigan Machado Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belts: Tyrone Gooden, Ryan Fiorenzi, and special guest, Chris Haueter.

The 2 seminars will include gi and no gi techniques, leg locks, training advice and philosophy, and rolling with the instructors!  This event will inspire you and help bring your game to a higher level!

Chris Haueter was one of Rigan Machado's first American black belts, earning his rank in 1996.  Chris served on the Machado USA competition team as a coach and competitor.  In addition to many colored belt victories, in 1997 he placed 2nd at the Pan American Invitational and took 1st at the US Open and the Joe Moreria Open, as a black belt.  Additionally, he is the first American black belt to have competed in the Mundial de Jiu-jitsu, the world championship event held each year in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  He has numerous Super Fight victories.

Throughout the years Chris has learned discipline and leadership, but most importantly, he has absorbed into his training honesty and open-mindedness. He makes no claim to being the fastest or the best of technical grapplers, and not even to being an amazing competitor.  Instead, he can be heard telling his students that no matter how good they get, there is always more to learn.  Brazilian Jiu-jitsu is the “art without limits,” its nature is “boxes within boxes.”  Paradoxically, it is Chris Haueter’s humility mixed with his passion for the science of the jiu jitsu that makes him one of the best instructors in the world in the art of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and submission grappling.

Tyrone Gooden is a black belt under Rigan Machado Black Belt, former amateur boxer, amateur wrestler, Tang Soo Do Black Belt with extensive martial arts training with over 35 years experience.  Tyrone holds a total of 5 Black Belts in various martial arts, and owned a personal protection company.

Ryan Fiorenzi is the owner and founder of East West Martial Arts.  He is a black belt uder Rigan Machado, and was the first black in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the state of Michigan.  He also holds a black belt in Kung Fu and has over 21 years training in various arts, including Judo, Wrestling, and Sambo.  He is the author of "Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Traning Volume 1: Basic Principles for Success."
